God's Hometown Network provides access to streaming media, hosting and management services for live, on-demand and satellite-linked services. Our worldwide streaming services are provided in a shared or dedicated server environment.  We offer our customers a full range of streaming solutions including Pay-Per-View options, encoding services, website development and hosting, an advanced Customer Management Interface, and a Technical Support Team with unprecedented knowledge of streaming media deployment and management.

The Market

Internet access has significantly increased in America over the last few years and is continuing to increase exponentially as the global market connects as well.  Our military is deployed in several international venues and many have the spiritual desire to stay connected to their hometown churches.  College students, typically have free broadband access that makes receipt of digital content much more feasible, not to mention the highest penetration rate of any online demographic.  Aging Baby Boomers, the largest growing demographic in America today, will gradually become more homebound or require assisted living.  Hundreds of millions of individuals worldwide depend on streaming media and the Internet as their source of information for educational and spiritual enrichment.  This number will increase by tens of thousands as streaming media content grows and individuals utilize multiple devices to access the Internet (computers, cell phones, PDA’s TV desktop boxes, etc).  Additionally, according to the Pew Research Center:

·         The percentage of Americans with Internet access is now 80%, including 81% of whites, 78% of African Americans and 70% of Hispanics.

·         More than three million Americans per day access the Internet for spiritual content.

·         This year (2005) the number of American Internet viewers is expected to reach more than 200 million.

With ministries, colleges & universities and other companies reaching out globally to share their message, these numbers are a very small representation of the available audience for streaming media content.

The Technology

Streaming media technology enables the real time or on-demand distribution of audio, video and multimedia via the Internet. Streaming media is the simultaneous transfer of digital media (video, voice and data) so that it is received as a continuous real-time stream. Following is a list of some of the services we offer:

Live Webcasting and On-Demand Streaming

Do a live webcast of a radio show, sports event, sermon, seminar or classroom instruction.  Archive your content for subsequent, on-demand viewing.  We provide flexible access to all your program distribution needs while monitoring your encoder 24/7.

Simulated Live Streaming 

The archived material will begin playing on the server at the start time set and will play through your playlist until the end time. You may also set your playlist to repeat indefinitely. This enables you to run your material 24/7 as if it's a live webcast. When a user logs on they will view the clip/program that was scheduled to run at that time.

Flash Video Streaming Service Statistics 

Provides Flash MX Communicator Server high-end live streaming reports for Flash video streams. Statistics are updated every 5 minutes. This service includes integrated behaviors and controls in the Flash environment via a web-based FVSS Project Manager.

Digital Rights Management System

Digital Rights Management System (DRM) enables our customers to encrypt their windows media content easily and at no extra charge. This offers greater flexibility and security enhancements enabling content owners to deliver digital media to a broad base of customers easily. Digital Rights Management (DRM) is an end-to-end system that offers content providers and retailers a flexible platform for the secure distribution of digital media files and consumers the ease of use needed to accompany and enjoy digital media experiences.

Provides the ability for our clients to secure the links to their content and prevent other domains from using your links to stream your content.   Add a password that would be required to access content
